A new key visual has been revealed for the upcoming 13th and final episode of ATRI: My Dear Moments, which will air in Japan on October 6, 2024. The anime first premiered on July 14, 2024. 

Next week’s finale of the anime will be broadcast on TV in Japan without any commercial interruptions, much like the show’s 10th episode.

Makoto Kato (Bloom Into You, Lord El-Melloi II’s Case Files {Rail Zeppelin} Grace note) is directing the anime series, with Jukki Hanada (Bloom Into You, STEINS;GATE) as screenwriter, Michio Sato (Beautiful Bones -Sakurako’s Investigation-) as character designer and chief animation director, and Fuminori Matsumoto as music composer. Troyca is handling the animation production. 

Other staff members include Mariko Shinohara (Overtake!) as color designer, Ken Naito (Gods’ Games We Play) as art director, and Tomonori Kato (Overtake!) as compositing director. 

Meanwhile, the returning voice cast reprise their roles from the romance visual novel (except for Natsuki Ikaruga who was unvoiced), which stars:

• • Minami Takahashi as Minamo Kamishiro
• • Yoshimasa Hosoya as Ryuji Nojima
• • Yoko Hikasa as Catherine

The anime is based on the romance visual novel, developed by Frontwing and Makura. It was first released by ANIPLEX.EXE for PC worldwide on June 19, 2020, and was later ported to the Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android in Japan on December 16, 2021.  

Crunchyroll is currently streaming the anime series worldwide, outside of Japan. 

ANIPLEX.EXE describes the synopsis of ATRI: My Dear Moments as: 

In the near future, a sudden and unexplained sea rise has left much of human civilization underwater. 

Ikaruga Natsuki, a boy who lost his mother and his leg in an accident some years earlier, returns disillusioned from a harsh life in the big city to find his old countryside home half-swallowed by the sea. Left without a family, all he has to his name is the ship and submarine left to him by his oceanologist grandmother, and her debts.

His only hope to restore the dreams for the future that he has lost is to take up an opportunity presented to him by the suspicious debt collector Catherine. They set sail to search the sunken ruins of his grandmother’s laboratory in order to find a treasure rumor says she left there.

But what they find is not riches or jewels; it is a strange girl lying asleep in a coffin at the bottom of the sea.
