The Aniplex x Kadokawa Anime Festival livestream event announced a television anime adaptation of Matsuri Isora’s Silent Witch: Chinmoku no Majo no Kakushigoto (Secrets of the Silent Witch) light novel on Friday. The official website also revealed the lead cast and a teaser visual (pictured).

Voice actress Saya Aizawa (Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu) is starring as Monica Everett.

Isora began penning the adventure fantasy light novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in February 2020. Fujimi Shobo published the first volume under its Kadokawa Books imprint in June 2021, featuring illustrations by Nanna Fujimi. The seventh volume went on sale on February 9.

Tobi Tana began serializing a manga adaptation in B’s-LOG Comic magazine in July 2021. The third volume went on sale on August 1.

Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga in English and released the fourth volume in July 2023. The second manga volume went on sale in December 2023.

Silent Witch placed second in the tankobon category in the 2022 Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! rankings and fourth in the 2023 edition.

Synopsis
