Production company Kadokawa opened an official website for a television anime adaptation of Hifumi Asakura and Umiharu’s Around 40 Otoko no Isekai Tsuuhan Seikatsu (The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World) manga on Saturday, revealing a teaser visual (pictured) and a teaser promotional video. The anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.

Voice actor Junichi Suwabe (Black Clover) is starring as the main character Kenichi Hamada.

Umiharu began serializing the manga adaptation of Asakura’s isekai fantasy light novel in GFantasy magazine in April 2019 and ended on May 17. Square Enix shipped the seventh volume on February 27. Asakura originally began writing the novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in September 2017. SB Creative began publishing the light novel under its Tugikuru Books imprint with illustrations by Yamakawa (Isekai Yururi Kikou) in May 2018. The third volume went on sale in April 2019.
