My Anime Watchlist for Fall 2024
The Beginning Of Selections
I haven’t written one of these posts in a while. Mainly because I haven’t stuck with them for my selections. Though this coming season, my watchlist is much more defined and already figured out. All weeks in advance, which is pretty rare for me. So when I was tagged by 7Mononoke, I really had no reason not to make one. So here we go. Also, if you’ve read this and are a blogger who hasn’t made one of these posts yet….you’re tagged. There is no way around it now. I’m also too lazy to chose random people to tag.
The Selections
I’m going to be cheap and easy on this one. Just going to follow my anilist selected order and write only a small bit of why I chose them. That’s about it. Let’s go.
Dan Da Dan
I’m 50 chapters into the manga right now and this series is a lot of things. It’s wonderful, chaotic, silly, lewd, and just alright fun. How can it not be when it’s a journey of two teenagers and their friends facing off against aliens and yokai? I think you should watch it too.
Blue Box
I’ve been reading this manga since it first appeared on the SJ+ app. It’s so cute, warm, and cuddly. It’s a romance, it’s a sports series, and it’s just good stuff.
Dragon Ball Daima
It’s more dragon ball things. That’s all you need to know. I was going to watch it anyway, but it feels even more important to do so after Akira Toriyama’s passing.
Ranma 1/2 (2024)
I already watched the new Urusei Yatsura, so it’s time for more Rumiko Takahashi stuff.
Yakuza Fiancé: Raise wa Tanin ga Ii
I don’t have much reason for this one besides it looks and sounds pretty interesting. Yeah, that’s about it.
Orb: On The Movements of the Earth
I looked up the synopsis and it’s a historical drama. Also, it’s by Madhouse. Already in, let’s go.
Natsume’s Book of Friends Season 7
It’s more Natsume’s book of friends. I love the other six seasons, why wouldn’t I love this season too?
Love Live! Superstar!! Season 3
Seasons 1 and 2 were exceptional. I am hoping this season is like them.
Kabushiki Gaishi Magi Lumiere
I’ve been slowly reading the manga on this one. It’s a really cool concept. Corporate magical girls who work for a pay check? Yeah, it’s exactly what it says and the manga is pretty well done. I am hoping the anime is just as good.
Mecha Ude: Mechanical Arms
I helped fund the kickstarter for this show back in the day. Pretty excited to see this become a whole series. I was going to watch it regardless, but I have even more of a reason to watch it then because it sounds cool to me.
GUNDAM: Requiem for Vengeance
It’s more Universal Century Gundam stuff. Yeah, that’s about all I need to say about it in general. I don’t it looks ore moves the best, but it’s an experimental Gundam sort of things from Sunrise. That’s all I need to look into it.
