Spice and Wolf: merchant meets the wise wolf Episode 22

This is a great Lawrence episode. One with him feeling out the town to gather information from his great people skills. It’s interesting what he picked up through some bits of feeling and making friends with random town folk. It’s interesting to see how the town has become so profitable by church that is in the town that no one seems to like. The Abby wasn’t found though and going to be unhand p interesting to see Lawrence and Holo handle the situation moving forward.

Wonderful Precure Episode 31

Another Mayu episode with her sharing cat pictures of Yuki online to make her business boom a little bit. It’s also a story of Mayu making up with a girl from her town Yuma who is very much like Mayu. It’s a very cute, Mayu focused one from people who understand her sense of focus during the precure session and Yuma understands it quite a bit too. Poor Zakuro trying her best as a villain and failing though.

Dead Dead Demons Dedede Destruction Episode 15

I just, what am I supposed to do with this episode? A reporter woman who made a documentary on a woman living on subsidies while also checking content after sex and the woman in the documentary are caught under the wreckage of the space craft that is falling apart. Government officials plan on leaving Tokyo in their space craft, the US are making their move, one woman is the center of the ai, and every piece of Japanese technology is being used to kill invaders. I’m just listing things and it’s going insane. Kind of amazing.

Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture Episode 11

I think this is the episode where the story discovered it needed to give its cast more character arcs and create conflicts. It’s a bit of a mess of an episode that is on hyper speed after wasting time on the last couple episodes on Code Geass references. Haruka apparently got an arc in becoming second in command all of a sudden. Ashe also takes on Norland and just loses after Katherine talks about strength against Norland and also loses. Roze/Sakuya has her own arc where others helped her to take down the field so they can all face Norland. It’s very rushed final boss stuff and characters were placed there just for that moment.

Oshi No Ko Season 2 Episode 9

This episode was Aqua’s episode as well as the end of the play itself. I loved seeing every single moment of Aqua grappling with his trauma in character then saying he doesn’t have to dig as much more into it. Then the exhaustion each character felt after their first night with Kana and Kanade not admitting how much of a star she has become in tears. There is some really good, emotional character writing going on. The mystery hook in the end was great too.

Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian Episode 9

Most of this episode was good. Yuki having the pressure in the beginning of succeeding by her grandfather was good character set pieces. No wonder she can only be in otaku self around kuze. Same with the comical rom com moments Kuze got put in trying to lessen the blow of his and Alya’s win. The President and Vice President were clearly making out behind the desk. So all of that was good.

The second the hypnotism book was presented in the student council room, I knew what was going to happen. The Kujo sisters hypnotized by otaku and taking their clothes off at Yuki’s suggestion (is she bi?) was whatever. I didn’t need to know that Alya was wearing pink underwear and Masha wearing Purple today for instance when stripping in the student council room. At this moment, the student council room is very horny and I find that pretty great.

Dungeon People Episode 8

Yeah, this show is just a lot of fun. Very interesting seeing how dungeon floors can be renovated. Plus the mechanics of how the monsters are placed through lots and the horny spirits do the work in creating the land for it. Yeah, it was just so interesting and then seeing all the monsters actually draw lots too. Just so any interesting things all around there too.

Narenare -Cheer for You!- Episode 9

This is another one where I wish this show spaced itself out a bit more properly. But, this is one where the girls spent their time apart and really stewed on things. Ok, the kind ones Nodoka and Shizuka wanted to talk to people and everyone else stayed away or were like Kanata who tried to jump and failed which led to the hospital. And it was that injury which led to the group getting back together again. It felt a bit easy but pretty genuine.

Kinnikuman Perfect Origin Episode 8

Another episode, another really cool and innovative match. The demon chougin Atlantis who is a creature of the black lagoon vs Marlinman of the perfect chougin was really good. Such a creatively fun water match. One that Atlantis showed he does care about the last person he fought Robin Mask and can be motivated by kids too. That made me want to see him succeed even more. Just a really good episode.

Tower of God Season 2 Episode 9

Yeah, this was a bit stronger of an episode focusing on the big half angel guy Ilmar and his backstory before he left the crew. Khun and his crew also have a bit of a crew splitting while knowing Bam is alive now. It’s a few random things that don’t feel like they belong together. The writing composition is mediocre.

The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies Episode 8

Mimori being possibly tasked with a job she doesn’t wear underwear aside, very cute episode. It’s the Christmas preparation episode and it’s really cute seeing Mira and Mimori talking about what gift to give the other. Plus, the way the two you a dinner date after Mimori’s work day on Christmas was really cute. Kind of glad this show is made out of short episodes.

Bye Bye, Earth Episode 8

Yeah, just enjoyed this episode because it felt the most organic fun and human. Belle being invited to a party by Sherry and wearing a nice dress was pretty fun. Same with her having the strongest grip ever compared to a giant elite who looked stronger. So there is Belle who gained more and more light when meeting people versus Adonis whose life moved more and more into darkness.
The biggest thing is coming to a head when Belle takes on the ghost of her past to face down a threat to all Solists. And yeah, there is so many little heavy moments of sadness and depression before Belle takes off to find out who she is. Oh my goodness, there is some really good drama going on here even if some of it is a bit too much sometimes. The only problem I have with this show is that it’s moving a bit too fast.

Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines! Episode 8

An episode on club activities, who would have thought? I’m kind of amazed by how many crazy girls are in this school. Now we have seen more of the student council besides hot zombie Shikiya. But this episode was mostly Komari’s episode as the next president of the lit club needing some help just to get the club’s activity read for the school fair. Anna was there to eat as usual but actually helped with giving ideas. So yeah, just a lesser episode but still pretty great.
