Wistoria: Wand and Sword Set for Season 2 Release
A second season of the Wistoria: Wand and Sword anime has been announced.
Season 1 of the anime, which is based on the manga written by Danmachi‘s Fujino Oomori and drawn by Toshi Aoi, premiered on July 7 JST and ran for one cour. Kodansha USA describes the source material as:
The new, magical dungeon-adventure fantasy series from the author of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Seeking to fulfill a promise to a childhood friend, Will Serfort enters Regarden Magical Academy with the goal of making it to the top of the magical world. There’s just one problem: he can’t use magic! Will his sword skills be the key to unlocking his true potential?
The manga began serialization in 2020 in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. There are 10 tankoubon volumes as of June 2024..
